ST. KITTS AND NEVIS LAUNCHES DIASPORA CAMPAIGN AT ANSA REUNION 2025

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS (MAY 26, 2025)

The St. Kitts Tourism Authority in collaboration with the Nevis Tourism Authority proudly launched the highly anticipated Diaspora Program during the ANSA Reunion 2025, Toronto Canada. The landmark initiative, an emotional and vibrant celebration of culture, heritage, and kinship—branded under the theme "We Limin”—is a call to action for Kittitians and Nevisians across the globe to rediscover their roots while supporting a bold new vision of sustainable, inclusive tourism.

The launch, held amidst the excitement of reunion festivities, introduced the Diaspora Program as a platform for connection and contribution. Designed with the global Kittitian and Nevisian family in mind, the program offers exclusive incentives, destination engagement opportunities, and a front-row seat to the islands’ tourism renaissance.

Program Highlights Include:

  • Special Hotel Rates: Enjoy reduced rates at participating accommodations such as Royal St. Kitts Hotel, KOI Resort, Park Hyatt St. Kitts, Timothy Beach Resort, Oualie Beach Resort, Hamilton Beach Villas & Spas.
  • Attraction & Restaurant Discounts: Receive exclusive pricing on top experiences and eateries across the twin-island destination.
  • Marketing & Training Opportunities: Join webinars and stay informed with a quarterly newsletter tailored for the diaspora.
  • Tourism Champion Access: Become an official advocate for the destination and help promote St. Kitts and Nevis in key international markets.
  • Loyalty Benefits: Use your Diaspora Card at local partners for perks throughout your stay.

The Diaspora Program aligns closely with the destination’s commitment to rethinking tourism—centered around community empowerment, environmental sustainability, and cultural authenticity. Additionally, the launch featured initiatives aimed at welcoming the Anguillan brothers and sisters through initiatives aimed at the Caricom Community.

Quote from the Minister of Tourism:

“This is more than a campaign—it is a movement. The Diaspora Program is our invitation for nationals living abroad to reclaim their space in shaping our tourism future. We are calling you home not just to visit, but to engage, invest, and champion the island you love. The beaches await you, the breeze whispers your name, and your roots are ready to welcome you back.”
Hon. Marsha T. Henderson, Minister of Tourism, International Transport, Civil Aviation, Urban Development, Employment, and Labour for St. Kitts & Nevis

The launch coincides with a dynamic calendar of events, including Nevis Mango Festival (4 July), Restaurant Week (17–27 July), Nevis Culturama (24 July–5 August), Grill Fest (26 July), Caribbean Premier League cricket matches (August), Sugar Mass (12 December 2025 to 02 January 2026), and much more.
